A few logistics details for the tournament this coming weekend. All registered teams will be receiving an FAQ document Monday evening with these and more specifics, but here are a few important details....
Captain's Meeting(s) - we will have two different meetings on Friday, 12/2 - you must attend ONE. Should only take you 10-15 minutes. You'll turn in your signed release forms, pay your entry fee and optional Big Fish fee (in cash) and collect the measuring board / token card to be used.
- Crazy Horse Marina (patio near marina store) - 4-5:30 pm
- Halesford Harbor Inn (back patio) - 9 - 10:30 pm
Lines-in will be 6:45am.
Post-tournament Check-in & Awards will be held at Crazy Horse Marina - plenty of room for boat docking for those coming by water, car parking, or truck/boat trailering as needed. Check-in opens at 3pm and closes promptly at 4pm
Crazy Horse Marina is located on the Blackwater side of the lake, of Scruggs Rd, about 15-20 drive from Halesford Harbor Inn and about 10 min from the intersection of Scruggs & VA122 at Westlake. Address is 400 Crazy Horse Dr, Moneta, VA 24121
Also, a reminder that we will be collecting new toys to donate to the collection being done by Sea Tow for Smith Mountain Lake Christian Ministries which will be used to go to deserving kids. Each toy donated will get you a raffle ticket for a 5/8". 10' Tim Wade Custom Cast-net. Let's fill up Santa's Sleigh - you do not have to be participating in the tournament to participate in this raffle - if you want to come out to the post-tournament check-in & awards and bring a toy you're welcome to enter!
