I believe they are closed for the winter and have the ramp closed off and locked. They sell access to the lock for a yearly fee if you are interested.
I have not been by there in the last 2 weeks but this was the plan last time I spoke to the owner. I know one guy that paid for access and he has been happy with it. I forget the exact cost but it was $50 or $60 for the year or something along those lines....for some that may be better than paying the $5 fee each time.

It's $200 for the year. A key to the gate. And they won't pro rate it if you want to buy a key late in the year. I talked to them about buying one in September. Still wanted the 200. Then come March they will change the lock and want another $200. Atleast that's what they told me. Not very reasonable people if you ask me. It's a shame we can't get a decent place to launch in the mid to upper bw section

Whats the deal with the old crafts church road ramp? Maybe there's a community ramp that they would consider leasing?

The crafts church ramp is pretty rough. I tried it out 3 weeks ago. Trailer dropped in a hole and bottomed out. Boat was barely in the water enough to get it off the trailer. Finally got the boat off then pulled the trailer up out the hole.

Crafts is awful. I launch my little skiff there but anything more than that would not be much fun. I'd be scared to break something.
