Have not... my buddy and i are at a toss up as to what boat we should take. How rough does it get out there ?

Depends on the wind. I will say that river gets nasty rough on certain winds. I think Saturday it blew from the N and creates a hard chop. The only thing I would be uncertain of with a fly rod is if they will survive the fight. They are pulling machines.
