Well, sure hate it went down his way, and I'm with you shadslinger - hate some good info and better memories disappeared in the press of a button, but things will go on - appreciate what we had and appreciate the opportunity for what we will have more.
I thought about trying to come up with a new clever alias but just couldn't think of one... So here I am. I enjoy late night boat rides in the moonlight, the smell of shad in the morning, a tug on my rod and a place to talk trash with friends.
I guess we'll have this place feeling like home soon enough....

Kat, we love you and Rockfish and them younguns, and always will. I know it's been tough, but your brothers are showing up here one by one (Superstriper's wanderin' around in a daze, but he'll be here d'rectly). We're always here for ya. I remember all of times I almost blowed coffee out my nose early in the morning checking in on the site and seeing some of the stuff he had posted......them images are burnt into my junkie mind forever.....and it makes me smile  All the Christmas pics The shortbus The cover of Bassmaster magazine with one of the feature stories on SS called "Top Ten Fetches" (that one's at the top of the list) A pic of me and Travis and some blue spandex A pic of the YMCA gang It's a shame about the other site. I was on there 12-13 yrs and contributed quite a bit, met a bunch of good folks, and had a helluva good time. Whoever got this up and running, my hat's off to ya. |

I'm HokieChad, glad to be here. Big thanks to those that put this together, should be a good place to hang out and talk some good natured crap. Don't take anything I say seriously, I am a smarta$$ at heart.
I like loud hip hop over a school of fish to keep them around, docking up with CatsNBrooke, watching mward pull planer boards in windy weather and reading emails from crazy girls.

BIGJON I would love to buy you "A" beer. YEP one beer!!! But you are working all those long hours and you just don't have time to party!
I guess we are experiencing a little "Hope & Change" with these boards. But I am looking "FORWARD" to this group to keep things moving!
LEO is a fisherman so you know he lies! LOL He is still in the 70's and all that flower power.
Mike & BentRod thanks for posting all those pics. If I can't catch any fish it always enjoyable reaking ablout people that do.

well, I grew up in north carolina as a hardcore duke fan. but when it was time to go off to college, UNC was the best school I got accepted to, so I went there. It was tough turning against my life long team, but I couldn't not pull for my school so I didn't have much of a choice haha
