If you've got mechanics wire on board, wrap some around all of the hose connection points. You've got an air leak somewhere in your fuel line. Also, try removing the gas cap. You could have a non venting tank right now thanks to mud wasps or something.
Both of these issues have gotten me in the last year.

I disconnected hose feom the bulb to siphon from tank. Seemed stopped up with all the pressure and no fuel. I then disconnected line from top of tank and blew through the line from the bulb. There was not an obstruction. Reconnected and unable to siphon from bulb to tank. I did remove gas cap. I topped the tank off earlier this morning so i have fuel. Haha Thanks for any suggestions.

Harley on my Yamaha 200 I had a similar problem and it was the diaphram leaking in a fuel pump. It pumps fuel to the injectors. Hope yours is simpler.

Mine is a yamaha 150 2 stroke, im unable to get gas from the tank up to the bulb. There is a check valve on top of the gas tank i removed and seems to be working properly. Thanks

I have a bulb that only works properly if I hold it vertically with the output end up. I never cut one apart to see exactly how it works, but I think that there are one way valves at both end with balls that plug the output side when the bulb expands and plugs the inlet end when it's squeezed. I can hear and feel something rattle int here when I shake it. I'm guessing that by now you've tried shaking the bulb and probably given it a few good bangs against something?

Did you get it sorted out?
When you fueled up, did you add Stabil or anything like that? Maybe the little cardboard disk fell in the tank and has clogged the fuel pickup screen.

Okay, we are all waiting....
What was the solution/problem?
Was the hose hooked up backwards? Loose fitting? Hole in the hose? Hose not hooked up? Wrong gas tank?
Come on now, we all need to learn from this.

First, thanks for everyones help. On top of the gas tank is a fitting with a check valve. The check valve was stuck and would not allow fuel to pass. I went to Brownies hardware, (reminded me of true value, have a little bit of everything) to pick up the fitting and did not have the check valve to get me on the water. I didnt catch any fish, but glad to get the bugs worked out before tournament time. Im practicing. I also learned below the check valve fitting is a tube that was approximately 12 in long. It could have been (but wasnt) a split or hole in the tube which would have caused siphoning problems. Kind of like sucking drink through a straw and there is a crack. Thanks again, hope this helps.
