Fishing was tough new section on lake maybe water level up and down like a tide may have played with the fish not sure my son and I fished beckys at day break several mornings and would end morning in walton creek both produced about same kinds of numbers with the bigger fish coming from Walton on free line shad beckys fish would only take 5 inch ales on 3/8 oz lite lines in 2 weeks did not catch a fish on monster ales or blue backs and only one fish on down rod most fish came on 3/8 oz back 30 to 35 ft on boards the nicest fish was a 16 lber that took a 10 inch free line shad of the top with a little show of the shad dance hope to get back down this fall have a good summer and keep the lines tight
