I had a good night last night. Wound up with 50+ pounds of Channel Cats. The smallest was 4# and the biggest was 9.5#. All of them came from between Moorman's and Lynnville Creek, using Shrimp and cut Gizzard Shad. It was a beautiful Full Moon night. It seems the Cats have finished spawning. I never did hear the Stripers hitting on the surface like I did a couple weeks ago. I was marking a lot of them running with the Shad about 10-15 feet down.

It seems the Cats have finished spawning. YES!!! Been waiting to hear this. The smaller ones seem to get back to feeding first. |

Hey Flathead what kind of areas do you look for when targeting catfish? I've been fishing drop offs mostly. One of my favorite places drops from 6'-7' down to 18' to 20'. I tried deeper water but haven't caught anything in holes deeper than 30'. |
