I went after crappies again, this time on the Darkside fora change of pace. It's a long run from penhook to the upper reaches, but worth it. I ended up with 32 on jigs by 10am, with 20 keepers. Got some large bluegills and white perch too.
Headed to pick up my wife and kid at 1030, and fool around for white perch. They were abundant in the lower blackwater, and my wife even found some slabs of her own down there. She had the biggest crappie for the day, 14".
