Primetime took all 3 of my boys and I out Friday night and Saturday morning. We started out about 5pm looking for some bait to pull around before dark hoping to catch a striper for dinner. We caught a few moneymakers and a couple of mongos to put in the tank. My youngest Jayden is six and enjoyed helping throw back the non bait fish.
We soon were at a spot we thought may produce a fish or two and put out a full spread in 80 degree water. We pulled until almost dark when a float got hammered Jayden was on the rod and it was cool getting to see him fight a striper.

He was proud to be the one to catch our dinner. We pan fried that baby and everyone had some.
After dark we caught some ales and headed out to pull them around for a while We put out 4 down lines 2 light lines and two floats and fished for a few hours. Devan did pick up one 25" fish shortly after midnight. With 3 sleepy boys on the boat we called it a night about 2am and headed for the dock. Clock went off at 5:30 and we headed back out to hopefully find Matthew a fish. We pulled a full striper buffet all morning with nothing to show. Just before noon a mongo on a freeline board went screaming backwards. Matthew had what looked to be a nice fish on. It was pulling drag fast enough to burn his thumb. After a good fight and about halfway to the boat the fish came off. It was a great trip Thanks again Harley for having us on!
