I talked my girlfriend into getting up early for a little fishing trip this morning. I had a hard time finding many ales. Dollar bill gizzards were plentiful though. Fish seemed scattered where we were at. Traffic was not bad until about 10:00. We had a pontoon loaded with older folks run over two of my planers cutting one off, they weren't very far out from the boat and they the (pontoon) were going slow . I yelled to get their attention and they never looked up. What do you do? ? So I got all the lines in so I could retrieve my board. We weren't going to let that spoil the fun. We hooked this one on a light line planer baited with a dollar bill gizz. The fish nearly ran passed the boat. My girlfriend played the fish perfectly. A 32.5 " fish really gave her a fight. Fun to watch her do the striper shuffle . We managed to hook a another 25" striper on a 1/4 ounce light line with a small ale. That's about all the action we had other than another dollar bill pulled on a board got skinned up pretty good on a pull down . My only contribution was bait an 15" striper in the cast net.

Great report I remember those days when my girlfriend would do all that stuff. My girlfriend now wife and mother of two kids, a little harder to get her out there especially for an early morning trip.
