Fished Sunday AM with a mixed bag of bait: Ales, bluebacks, a mongo gizzard. WT 75 plus or minus.
Fished from Indian Creek up to Linville, never really marked much other than a singles. Saw some bait being chased by stripers and had a pull down on the big gizzard at about the same time but could not hook. Caught one 24". Surprised that we saw very few striper fishing boats, guess everyone was below the bridge and at the dam? First wakeboard boat at about 8:00, really??
Had about a dozen bait left and fished mouth of Indian Creek for about an hour this morning before getting busy with other stuff. Caught one and lost one.
Both fish released and seemed to swim away without any issues. Seems like I'm stuck on one fish per outing. For the hour long trips I'll be happy with that. It's the 4 hours and longer journeys that I'd like to see my fish per hour rate go up!!

Fish were stacked up there Saturday. And that wake boat was out at 8 Saturday too.

Great report. This time of year is rough with the fish moving back to their summer habitat. I really do love that part of the lake.
