I rowed 5 lines of ales from 6:00 - 9:00 from my cove around the yacht club sign and back this morning. Free lines, light, and 1.5 oz. No interest at all.
It was noisy at the bait light at 5:000 am. Either an animal at the bank or maybe spawning gizzards?

Won't be long before you'll be doubled up...  This morning I was messing with one pole a couple hundred feet from the dock when a downline started zipping--6 lb fish that hit hard and ran. So I stayed in the area and a 4.5 lb fish took a free line on a planer not long after. He went sideways across all my other lines. By the time I had all that untangled, it was almost 6:30 am and I had my limit, so I called it a day. |
