5/25 Report

I put in at Hardy about 5pm Wed. and stayed out all night. It was a beautiful night but the bite was pretty slow. I fished form Hardy to Linville Creek with cut Shad and Shrimp. All I got was three Channel cats from 3# to 4#. I had a hard time getting live bait. Most Shad were running 20-30 feet deep, and in very small schools. It was a bad night for my submersible light to crap out!

Nice report Flathead, those slower trips make the good ones seem even better.

I didn't mind. The weather was beautiful. It was the first time I ever slept on my boat. You gotta to love a fishing boat with a toilet, a bed, and a coffee maker!
