Ok another quick question for everyone.. I'm getting ready to melt down some lead and pour some sinkers. What kind of sinkers do most people use for striper fishing and what weights? Is the 2-3 oz egg sinker the #1 go to or will other shapes work just as well?
I have the flat bank sinker type mold and the other elongated type with the hole in the top to run the line thru but I wasn't sure if those would work good for striper setups.

Egg sinkers - I don't think you need anything over 2 ounces.

Moved to the Live Bait section..
For downlines I like 1 to 2 oz egg weights. I know some that use in-line trolling weights (swivel on both ends)
