hey all.
new to the forum, looking for striper fishing advise pertaining to boat setup, migration patterns, trolling, bait, whatever. I dock near hales ford bridge. We have a 15 foot whaler with no trolling motor (its the dog taxi) and no trolling rod holders yet. the boat does have side rails.
full discussions or hyperlinks to previous forum discussions are appreciated.
cheers

Welcome. If you read through the older posts....you will find a ton of info that pertains to everything you mentioned and then some. If you have a specific question, post it up and I'm sure you'll get plenty of answers.

Welcome!
Lots of good info on those topics organized in the various sections - take a little time to review through the past, but don't hesitate asking as new thoughts & ideas always seem to emerge in the process...

I just joined the Forum back in January and so far what i have found helpful is looking through previous years fishing reports for whatever time of year i am fishing. By that i mean, i plan to come up and fish this weekend, 5/7 + 5/8, before i come up i will read every report from around that time in 2015 and 2014, give or take a few weeks (i am primarily looking to match what the water temps are/were), and see what was working at those time...One thing i will note, you get out what you put into this forum. if you are constantly posting reports from every time you fish, with valuable information like weather conditions, water temps, fishing techniques, not necessarily where you caught fish but what worked for you. guys are a lot more likely to offer helpful information to you......and be careful, this stuff is addicting.
