I've been following this guy's posts on some of the boards for a while - he's a Lowrance dealer in South Africa and a (tourney??) bass fisherman. He knows his electronics. He's just published a book on HDS and it is available in the US as an e-book.
I'd say this is probably the best $5 you'd put towards your fishing..... lots of good tips that even I did not know about ;D Most of this is about using or setting up your HDS, but some of the content is relevant for any sonar user.
