I have a bait question guys. There is a creek close by that is about 8 to 10 foot wide and averages 1 to 2 foot deep. Would my left over gizzard shad be able to live and reproduce in this small waterway? The creek runs into a large river 3 or 4 miles away. |

I don't think they'd survive winter. They need some thermal refuge

Also, been cast netting a local river a while and never caught a gizzard. Or any other shad.
