I go out fishing yesterday and had a great time except for NO fish! Sitting there talking with my dad and a friend I notice that some sorry POS SOB has stolen my NET! This net was given to my by my recently deceast friend and has hauled many a Striper into my boat from the Bay and SML. I freaking hate a thief! I've been keeping my boat at waterwheel for 3 yrs and never had anything stolen. I'm pissed and will be on the lookout for my net! I'm done venting now! Hey, what's up with the fishing? Where are they at? Marked a few scattered yesterday mostly up near the dam.

Sorry to hear that Sue Reel, people stealing stuff really pisses me off. I actually took everything off my dock with the big tournament on the lake. I normally keep several hundred dollars of rods and reels on my dock but when there are a ton of "out of town" folks around I change my habits. As far as the fish go right now I am totally confused. Last year at this time the fishing was really good this year not so much. Temps came up very quickly and the transition to the lower lake may have happened early.

And sorry about the theft. One of our buddies had batteries, rods and even the boat registration sticker stolen off his boat at Bridgwater a few years ago.

Sue, sorry to hear your unfortunate circumstance....I had earlier in the year in March, a sorry son of a bi&$@ steal 3 redneck planer boards off of my boat while I went up to get my pick up when the boat was tied to the dock at the new ramp off 122. I didn't notice until I got home and KNOW the boat that stole my boards, and know they were on my boat before I went to get my truck because I always put them in a certain spot on the boat when I get to dock. I feel your pain with a thief and can't stand someone stealing something I work hard to spend my money on. As far as the fish go, I'm on board with the quick change in water temps.

Very sorry to hear this. I hate a freakin thief. It really pisses me off that somebody thinks they have the right to take something that doesn't belong to them . What's even more disturbing to me is they were obviously other fishermen . Hopefully karma will get them one day.

Well, as with most of us I think on here...I even had my name as well as phone number on all of my boards. I'm sure that the info is long gone now because I wrote my info on there in case I lost my boards in a hang up or some other way. (Other than a thief)
