After several recent outings above Indian Point which resulted in no fish, I decided to try heading down the lake . Put in at Hales Ford and headed toward the state park. Fished for an hour and a half and caught 5 small stripers (16 inch range) and 2 decent sized ones. (24-27 inch) Also caught a smallmouth. Not real productive by some standards, but I was just glad to feel a fish on the line again !
