Started at the well known hole close to the ramp. Quickly caught a small crappie.
Headed to the big trussle, the tree at entrance was not showing itself, maybe too many people anchoring to the exposed limbs. Marked it with a bouy and started pulling the chartreuse tube bait across the top of the tree. Quickly produced three nice 12" crappies. Several small crappie later, moved to the right base. Nothing.
Went to the cove across from Lynnville, found nothing except some small one pound LMB at the deep end of the docks, right under the surface.
Went back up into the river, past the the ramp. Found another 12" at a boat docks along with two small crappie and a bluegill.
Headed home, the Hardy ramp was so full that there was no parking available.
Water temp 61°, water clarity good, not big lake good, normal good.
