My oldest daughter and I left the dock about 11am with 3 leftover shad from the tournament. We pulled them for about 1 1/2 hours without any takers. We pulled them in and went upriver to catch fresh bait. About 3 hours later we had about 15 dollars and mongos. Ripped the net in a couple of places but can be repaired. We began fishing about 4pm. A few minutes later we had a small one on board. That was it for the rest of the evening.
My 14 year old asked what the white stuff was. I just flat out told her with screams of eeewwww to follow. Something always interesting happens on primetime!
Lot of boat traffic.
I have plenty of bait in the cage for another trip.
Wt 59-62 Pulled dollars and mongos on bank side The striper we caught was on a Mongo Sunny, no clouds Breezy at times
