We decided to split the weekend. We turkey hunted on Saturday and fished on Sunday. We Pulled planer boards bank side and creek side without much action but we where marking fish and bait but it all seemed to be 18-25 FOW. The area had 4-5 gulls around so we thought maybe they know something and it might turn on. We changed up and fished some down lines dragging them all around that area for awhile. Finally found some takers having one line break but did catch one. We used Ales caught at the light the night before seemed the gizzards we had found must have moved out. Threw on some deeper bait but did not catch anything but a couple of smaller ones that did not manage to get through the net. Was a good lesson trying to learn to use front fish finder to catch bait. I think we have some timing issues or we are throwing on small bait that is going through the net. Going to give it a better shot on a calmer day moving the Tm around hard to keep up with the side scan and where you think you should throw.
