Pretty cool tool Yam . Never seen one of them. I always just used a small zip tie to thread my line.

Tim Wade mentioned how useful they are along with a book titled, "How to make and mend cast nets" by Dahlem. Both have added serious value to my cast net love affair.

Seajay - Ditto on the zip -tie repair - mended a 6 inch tear in about 3 minutes. Throwing by the riprap for mongos can be hard on a net :-(
