First and foremost -- thanks to Striper Mafia for putting on a great series!!!!   Showed up early on Thursday AM, put boat in and engine sounded awful and could be nothing but broken.  Been fishing the James river downtown richmond -- boulders being hit and in the mud, not good.   Contacted Tyler and he hooked me up with Doc over at Captains quarters.  Boat back out of the water at 830am and over bridge to shop.  Long story short,  new prop and Doc put all things aside and took off and completely drained cleaned and replaced everything in lower unit.  Full of sand and mud and only 25% of oil-- bearings a little tight but working. All plugs were fouled and replaced.  After shelling out $$$$$$ --  Back in the water 430pm --Thank you Doc for such great service!!!!!  Fished Friday 4 in the boat biggest 34 inches -- 

Decided with weather and wife taking a judging job to cut my losses and head home early.  Thanks again to Mike and Tyler!!!!!

Kurt - thanks for your help with acquiring some of our early sponsors, helping with the measuring boards and hauling tables and tents to the venue each time. Sorry about the tents yesterday - those wind gusts got them just after setting them up and blew them off into the lake somewhere
