Fished three days last week. Haven't fished since last summer as my fishing hobby has turned into a boat repair hobby in my driveway in Greensboro. Installed a trolling motor and did some rewiring. Put in at Parkway Tuesday evening. Decided to troll to my house up Craddock. Hadn't caught bait yet so I put out a couple of lines and trolled artificials. Landed a fat 25 inch striper on the way home after coming through the three islands. Fished next two days trolling alewifes, but was skunked. Lots of wind and I think it I was too fast, rough on the bait. It was my first time trolling and first time using planner boards, so it was a success in the sense that I learned a lot and had fun. Signed up to fish in the tournament this weekend with my two sons so looking forward to that, and hopefully meeting some folks on the board.
