Fished most of day Saturday before the wind got crazy starting at staniford to kilowatt cove ending on main channel headed back to staniford. Free lining Planers, free lines, light lines and a float or two. Action was good early but bite slowed down and picked up toward the end. Got most of fish/hits around points near shoals off freelines and floats. Finished with 6 total....it was hard to go back in early but the wind was terrible, spent more time managing lines then fishing almost. Majority of fish came off ales and dollar bill gizzards.
Really amazed that majority of my bait survived Saturday night after what seemed like a hurricane that night (had boat in water attached to floating dock- with a LOT of bumpers)
Fished maybe 2 hours total Sunday because of the wind, no luck but didn't have high expectations....Great weekend overall.

I know what you mean about that wind especially running planers we ran into the same problem last week. We hit the woods for Youth day turkey hunting but might run into you next weekend if your up.

Thanks for the report... hard to fish when the wind hits the boat so hard it pushes you backwards 100 yards
