Primetime and I started out way before breakfast as usual in search of monster gizzards. It took us a while but we finally put 30 or so mongos in the tank. We also brought this monster on board with the cast net. We picked up Dad at the dock around 7am ready to head out in search of something to feed the mongos to. We put out 3 boards bankside, 1 board creekside, and 2 redi-rig floats out back all with freeline shad in tow. We had action almost right away but it took us almost 2 hours to get hooked up. First a bankside board went down Dad grabbed that one and as he was fighting it a float went under and I got it. We managed to get both of those in. Dads was 32 or so and mine was 28. Not long after that the wind picked up and made fishing anywhere but the creeks very difficult. Dad did put one more in the boat a little guy at 25 inches. Harley would't grab any rod all day just let me and Dad do all the catching. Thanks again Harley for the fishing trip. We called it a day about 2 tired of fighting the wind. Were able to put a few bait in the cage for a trip soon I hope. All fish came on points. Wt 57-59 White caps after noon.

Awesome report guys. very informative. Wind can be a formidable enemy when trolling in general, let along pulling a spread of boards and floats.

Nice report!
Are you guys throwing on lights in the dark or just watching sonar or throwing blind OR all of the above?

No lights. Using sonar and blind throwing to banks and in the swallow water.
