Got a wild hair up my butt this morning and took off to Staunton river state park and tried a little bank fishing. Had lines in the water before the sun came up. Tried the Staunton side and the dan side, not a bite all day fished till noon and packed up and came back home with tail tucked. Wishing the whole time I woulda took my boat cause while fishing in the dan side I had a pair of binoculars looking out to where the rivers come together and watched a couple boats drag on several fish. Ill be back though, April 22 &23 blue cat beware.
