Water Temperature - 53-57 degrees Weather - Cloudy all day with a morning breeze. Time Fished - 7:30am - 4:30pm Technique - Four planers and an occasional redi-rig float
I had bait so I started in/near a creek that was productive last week. Soon after the second planer was deployed the chase began. Each of the first two boards had baits going crazy but after a few minutes the chase ended and a long morning began.
I fished in creeks, off points and down the main channel. I wish I was experienced enough to know where to go and when. During the fall of 2014, Bentrod told me to stay out of the creeks until After the first of November - That really helped me.
While running into the back of a creek to scout I decided to toss the net a few times. A couple of throws and I had more moneymakers than I could handle. I was able to pick up a couple baits that were 14 inches. I also met Mark this morning, very nice guy who also gave me one large leftover bait. Mark, that bait swam all day and I ended up tossing him back.
Just after 2pm the sun began to peep through the clouds and I was able to pick up my first fish of the day. It was 29 inches and just over 8 pounds. The second came about 15 minutes later. It was 33 inches and and 14 pounds. The third came about one-half hour later and was 28 inches - not weighed.
I had two mongos and two moneymakers on all of the time. All fish came on moneymakers and all were caught well off the banks.
I called it quits about 4:45 and headed to the house.

Hey there R22 - nice report. Out of curiosity, what type of boat do you have?
