Hit the water about 2pm for a couple hours mid afternoon before the fiancé got back from her 3 week trip to Fort Knox. Bait was pretty easy - couple throws and I had 30ish shad - mostly 6-9" variety but picked up a few mongos. Pulled bait for a lil while and had real consistent rolls on some of my mid afternoon sunny spots but not much eating. Did finally con two fish into doubling me up at one point. Lost one, but got a lil fat 14lber in the boat. That was about it - headed in about 430 - water was 59 - clarity is much improved over past few weeks. Dumbest one in the lake Lost one - poor shad got a rough go of it Gotta brag on my girl - was the youngest and top honor grad in her SLC class.

Boy, that tank bottom sure looks white -- Congrats to your lady!!!! -- see you in a couple..... Yeah I didn't use my tank for 6 months and it turned white on its own! Same with the mudline on my boat - literally was gone. And some of you actually clean your boat after every trip.... Been green for years...

Nice report and congrats to Sarah. Have not seen any pics of her fishing with you lately. Bet she is ready to get on the water.
