 We headed to the crappie tree at 6pm. Upon arrival, stripers all over the place. Good thing we had creek cubs with our minnows. Big chubs on boards were the ticket. Lots of action for an hours worth of fooling around. Tons of busting!!! |

Great picture Johnr.
Sardines in Mustard sauce are my favorite. and yes, smoked oysters in oil, crackers. that is my lunch many days. and sometimes coming in from night fishing too.

They do both love fishing. My wife hasn't had much time to fish since we had my daughter, but she's finally old enough to entertain herself a little bit while we fish.  She loves the fish. These were the biggest she's seen yet. I think she was surprised at all the commotion. |

I used to tie a toy boat on to a fishing rod and let my kids drag it beside the boat. Great for short attention spans.
