Just wanted to get some of your thoughts on these tanks. The price is almost to good to be true for an insulated, and filtered tank. Although it is not a SBT2 type of filtration, it's better than nothing and would seem to work well in the summer just for some morning or night time fishing. At $250 for the 18 gal and $300 for the 26 gal. I'm seriously debating on getting one of these tanks. Small foot print for my boat as well. Thoughts?

does it have filtration? I've heard of them not can't recall the details..... any pics you can point us too?
However..... I realize that smaller boats and smaller space make larger tanks an issue - if you just plan to keep a smaller num of alewifes or small gizzards then fine - BUT - if you want to catch and keep larger bait DO NOT get a tank smaller than 30 gal in my opinion.... certainly don't drop $300 into a tank that you'd be more than 1/2 into a better tank...

Why buy that when you could make a tank that basic yourself for half that price? I realize tanks are expensive, but don't throw money into a basic tank only to realize you need something better down the line - then you're just that much deeper into it!

"better than nothing and would seem to work well in the summer just for some morning or night time fishing" If the quote above it what you are after. Before superbait etc. myself and others would cut down 30 gallon barrels or heavy trashcans, cut plywood in circle to fit ,silicone and screw on the inside, cut door and put a couple 12 volt airstones in it. or rig dannco or keepalive air injection.you will have to cool the water with ice or something in summer anyway. Not filtered but will work for short outings.Build one in a couple evenings, easy

I've got a 35 gal. Pesticide barrel that I can clean VERY well, and get some lexan and some air stones. I'm so glad I asked you guys about this before I bit the bullet and threw away a ton more money. I can make one that's a little bigger for half the price of not more; plus it'll give me a project for the week!! For this weekend ill just use my 6 gallon buckets that I have a stone in to keep my bait alive for a day or so. Thank you guys very much, in the mean time I'll keep checking for someone selling either grey line or SBT2. If you guys have any leads give me a PM. Thanks again.

Glad if it helped, google homemade bait tanks or I think I saw somebody with a thread on here about building one.many ideas online, some even build filtration systems for them.I think you would be as happy as buying a lesser tank, good luck
