Left this Moring heading up lake to check a spot on the main lake were I had seen birds working the day before.. After trolling around in this spot and watching the HDS I decided the fish must of moved on because I wasn't see anything at all on the sonar. So, I started heading up lake to spot #2 but, before I got there I saw a few birds diving. So, I stopped and watched for a minute and I could see stripers rolling here and there so I put out a spread. Ty and I start catching and releasing fish as fast as we could. Between getting bait in the water, reeling in fish and releasing them back in the water we were super busy. Most of the fish were in the 20" to 26" range. The fish were marking at about 20' to 25' deep. I was running about 20' to 25' of line behind my boards and I had 1/4" weights on two of my boards.. I had one freeline and one float with about 20' of line below the float with a 1/4 weight as well.. The float and the freeline produced pretty well..
