Primetime and I headed out for bait after check in on Friday night. Harley took us right to them we loaded his tank with 40+ gizzards most in the 11 to 14 inch range. Headed back to the dock and split the bait and work on rods to get prepared for the tournament. Dad, Devan(my middle son), and I headed out Saturday morning and was on our spot at lines in time. Put out 3 bank side boards, 1 creek side board, one float, and one planer float. Started having action right away. We Broke one off early. Soon after that we lost another nice one while trying to net it. Then the bite slowed down some. We fished hard all day finally we put one in the boat about 1pm and as soon as we got it in another board went down and we managed to git it in as well. Not the size we were hoping for but at least we had some fish. Fished up until almost check in time had some nervous bait but no more takers. Finished the day in 7th place. We were very pleased to finish that good with the tough conditions. Devan won the youth division and I'm very thankful for that. If not he may have gotten a hard time from Matthew. Congratulations to all the winners! Especially Primetime and Yam. They have worked very hard and fought through some major battles for the great finish! You guys both deserve it! Thanks to the Mafia for putting on another great tournament.
