We fished last two evenings. Friday evening from 5ish all way up till about 10pm. This evening we quit at dark. Both evenings we found fish feeding on surface schools of bait an hour or so before and all way until up to dark. Things slowed down after dark on Friday though. All fish were small to medium. But pretty active considering the weather, especially today.
How did things with the tournament go?

That's interesting. Last evening as I was coming home from a bait hunt, I kept seeing splashes from Indian down to Campers. I finally stopped to see if I was just hallucinating and saw stripers all over the water hitting the surface. Real loud pops and very scattered but everywhere. It about drove me nuts. As I would throw towards one, another one would pop somewhere else. Then a few would be under my boat then gone. I have never really seen this before and I didn't catch anything but it sure was exciting.

Yes, they were very scattered. We threw several different lures, as there wasn't one in particular that worked consistently. And as far as the chasing, after a while that got tiring. We eventually just picked a spot in the middle of the bait fish trail, and let it cycle by and through us.
