Started the day looking for striper candy with no luck. Changed gears and went after the elusive bigmouth. Elusive to me. Threw cranks parallel to bank with no luck. Tried tossing the spinner bats in different colors and blades with no luck. Followed up with flipping the black bass jig with a brown crawl trailer. Started to catch them. First one was 14" 1.7#. Second one was 16" 2.5". Tossing up under the bank. Went across from Mormans with more luck. Caught another 15" and a 14". Changed to a green lizard and caught another 16". Ended the day with another two on jig, 11" and 13". One of my better days. Started fishing at 8:30ish and ended around 5:30. Water temp started at 53°, ended at 60°. Water stained. Peace out....
