Fished from Hardy to Chandlers (0830-1530), landed 5 LM's on crankbaits and 2 LM's on a jig. Crankbait bite was in 3'- 8' and jig bite was a little deeper. I had 3 LM's, 3-4lbs and the rest averaged 2lbs. Very healthy and fat fish. Water temps 52-55 degrees with good visibility. Marked tons of shad around Hardy Bridge and scattered pods everywhere else. The wind picked up around 1230p and the crappie bite came alive. Good numbers/size crappie were feeding heavily. Moderate boat traffic with even a few jet skis running around. Overall, another good day on SML!
