Oh how I have been dying to get out on the water. The last two days has been very kind to me. The water temps have been between 45 and 52, and if you look hard enough, you can even find some rather clear water! Yesterday my very first fish was the fattest fish I have ever caught at 33 inches and a whopping 18 pounds! And today, my biggest fish was 34 inch and 17 pounds. What I have found is that they are playing with mongos but absolutely slamming dollar bills and money makers. I have also found that crazy fast speeds right against rocky bank cliffs is producing vicious attacks. And I mean no playing around...attack and your on! Releasing is more fun than filleting!

Nice fish and report Yam. Glad to see that 5 leading the WT number, that means it's on and it only gets better from here.

Sweet report yam!!!! I'm thinking I haven't given you near enough credit for your hard work and what you have accomplished in such a short time. but please, can you get rid of that sun visor thing-a-ma-do and get a real hat.

Thanks I think! Gator is spot on. They don't make hats that fit my head. I have to wear ball caps backwards.

33" and 18 lbs! That fish needs to push away from the table and go swim some laps. Very nice fish Yam.
