On the water by 7am, deck nice and icey until the sun was up for a bit. Threw the net for a while and finally went fishing with the bait left over from Sat. Went upriver for a while , more scouting then fishing...made the decision to head back down and fish some clean water. Put out a spread of flats, weighted lines and down rods in a major creek. Mongoes were plenty nervous but never got whacked. Picked up a 29" 11# and a 27" 8# on downrods. Fish were in the trees coming up to baits right above the treetops. Water was 45 degrees where we were. Beautiful day on the lake....

Glad you finally found a few - was tough fishing out there this weekend for sure.
