Matthew and I had the pleasure of taking a couple of our friends out today. We started pre dawn in search of bait. After we got the bait in the tank we still had a while before sunrise so we decided to cast for them a while. I landed a small one first 6lb or so. Matt's friend Kaden got one soon afterwards. His was a lot nicer fish 33" My small one Kadens new personal best. Two was all we could manage to land while casting. We had several more bites but couldn't get a hook in any. After sunrise we deployed the big bait on 4 free line boards and one float. Pulled for a couple of hours in a few different spots. Finally we found some that wanted to cooperate. Kadens dad Kevin was first with his new personal best. A very nice fish 36" 18lb. 20 minutes or so later Matthew connected with his new PB weight wise with a 36.5" 21lb fatty. Things slowed to a crawl after that. We pulled for about 3 more hours with no signs of fish. Called it quits at 2pm and headed for the house.
