I caught most of my bigger ones last year in October and November. I started last summer, I would go out in the evening and stay out until 10 am the next day. I caught several catfish on the blackwater side. I finally came out with my biggest one so far at 28 lbs.

We tried catfishing several years ago. Was going pretty often but never caught anything big. Tried lots of places and almost every kind of bait. Had a lot of fun just not much success. Any tips?

That's a nice cat! I use to fish those fall nights alot. Some of the best time of the year. But don't get to fish sml cats much anymore..
Caught some nice cats for 2 week last april. But that's all I had time for all year.
Keep catchin and keep releasing!

Nice Flathead! I haven't targeted Flatheads on the lake but have caught some while fishing for Stripers and Channels. Last year my partner lost a nice one at the side of the boat when his hook came untied. An hour later I caught the same fish!
