Mission accomplished (and I now have a hernia!) Realized when I got out there I hadn't thrown a net since August. But don't worry Yam, I still got it! Most of these went back in the dip, but I did bring 75 or so home. Next time I'll take the 100gal transport tank and bring them all home! Game warden was out today too and pulled alongside me in a jon boat - he was pretty nice - said he'd never seen so many shad ha. Did check my boaters license in addition to my fishing license - that was a first for me. My buddy

Bentrod that is a beautiful sight. Been a couple months for me to see the ol gizzards. Nice catch. That new bait tank will definitely get its work out now.

What a net full of gizzards. Nice job! The game warden checked our boaters cards back in the summer. My girlfriend was so proud she got her card she showed it to him even though she wasn't driving. Ha Ha

Bunch of moneymakers and few big shad were roaming in 20-30ft of water with a lot of peanuts. I moved back out to 35-40ft and found the big hammers hanging 10-25ft deep over that 35-40ft water.

Good stuff. I'll be joining next week for spring break. My first mission this Spring is to catch a muskie on film. My second mission is to break into your shed tank and simply watch those beautiful bait swimming around.

Your 3rd mission, should you choose to accept it, it to get the water wolf attached to the cast net!
