I did a lot more driving around the fishing yesterday. It's been a few months since I've been on the lake. I was mostly just enjoying being on the water. If was pretty cold and windy, so I scouted around the usual BW and Gills spots....I marked a bunch of scattered fish, but never found that jiggable school. Broke out the lead core and dragged the channels for a while. It's amazing how the wind picks up fast whenever you get hung up. Did j mention it was cold? Probably 27 with the wind chill. There were lots of what looked like gizzard shad in upper gills, but they were at 10' in 40 fow. Maybe they were something else. My goal for '16 is to get better at reading lowrance. Water temps were 41..... Didn't catch a thing but was happy to be out there.

No better way to know what you are seeing on your graph than to fling that net at em. Of course this assumes you bring up something in that net! Spring is coming soon!

Nice report lund1. That wind must have been brutal and I know what you mean when you get snagged on a windy day. Never fails!! It always brings out the best words too.

green water around the 3 islands....coffee above the S curve...never went further then the cliffs. Plenty of stripes in the coffee. No trash that I saw.
