There is an interesting news article on the possible stocking of red drum at Hyco Lake NC. on the North Carolina fish and game website. That would be a hoot.

That's like 20-30 min from me - have relative-in-laws that lives over there. Giddy up! Might as well make good from a warm-water fishery for something beside green fish  |

Just 45-50 min from me and I can see the smoke stacks from my hunting club. I have green fished there, but didn't know that there were tilapia in the lake. Just imagine getting a hold of a bull red in a local lake.
