Out at sun up this morning. Saw medium size flock of gulls circling and picking up bait just above HF bridge 7:30 AM - 8:00 AM. But did not even get one bite. Did not mark any stripers. Did see large clouds of bait fish on finder.

I feel for you. It seems from the recent posts people haven't been having much luck on the Roanoke side. Even a guide buddy of mine said he's had trouble. I know not everyone says which side they were on though. I've been waitIng to see someone catching fish on the Roanoke until then I won't feel too bad about it.

Yep All the fish are on the "darkside". Be that way until end of May.

John!!! You are getting confused. The "R" markers are not the Darkside; that'd be the side with all of the fish. The Darkside consists of a small stringer of fish that mward lent us. I think he done that mainly to keep the big fish to himself.
Thanks for the report!!

Heck - I even went as far as to show Gator a Muskie hoping those sharp teeth would scare him away from the Roanoke side forever - yet he keeps coming back into our territory.......
