It was a beautiful day to be on the water. The air temps. around 60 by late morning and the water temps in the mid 40s. No live bait, just artificial today. My report goes downhill significantly from there.
A friend and I got on the water about 8 am. To start the morning we found a few birds, very few. SeaJay passed along they were marking some decent fish so we stopped for about 30 minutes but we just weren't in the right spot. Nothing for us. We moved up river, stopping at several spots along the way. No birds to lead the way so we did more looking and little fishing. And that about sums it up. We fished six hours looking above and some below the bridge. Fished some, caught nothing.
It was still a nice day to be out.
