Out on the water before daylight- my buddy throwing his new 10' net. We caught several nice moneymakers and headed to the last place we had marked fish. Ran 2 planer boards, a freeline, and 2 downlines. Turned out they wanted the bait on downlines- 20-27 ft deep. Ended up with 6 fish in the boat and at least that many more that we missed. All fish over 28 inches. We are new to bait fishing- it is addictive ! Hope to get back out next week if the weather cooperates.
