Hello,
New to the forum but not to the region. Have lived in Bedford 15 years I decided to try my hand at stripers. Have fished the tidal portion of the James for several years as well as the York and Rapp.Have also spent a lot of time at Buggs fishing crappie. I really have never been much of a bass fisherman but have started to take an interest in stripers. Looking forward to learning the ropes.

Thanks Just from what I have read so far on this board I can tell that I have got alot to learn. I am really impressed by the amount of information that is freely given to others.

Welcome - as has been said before - you get from here what you put in. - the more you participate the more folks will be willing to help directly (often outside the public side of the forum) - and don't hesitate to ask what you may feel are "dumb" questions or ones asked 100 times before - everyone often learns a little something new from the responses on how others attack a given problem

Welcome aboard!! If you are out and about, on the lake, and see someone fumbling around with a cowboy hat that would be me. Unless, mward decides to get a hat. I know he has been thinking about it.

My son Matt rocks the cowboy hat in our family...... this one is a (more than) a few years old - he has a newer one new - more Gator style
