Well first trip since before bow season. Also I'm new to striper fishing this time of year. Learned Friday maybe I couldn't just go out and catch bait. Everything I saw was around 50 ft. I also think my net is closing up pretty fast after 20 ft or so. Jigged around some after lunch. Never caught striper this way befor. Called it at 4 went back got some food and drinks... Saturday woke up super early caught bait went up river marked a lot of fish anchored down around beaver dam caught 4 channel cats 2 flatheads. Headed back for lunch at noon. Saw birds and a few boats figured I'd join in. Finally caught my first striper on a 1/4 oz jig and zoom super fluke measuring 24". Missed a few more after that headed home around 4 again.
