  Friday morning...

  With hunting season over and the wife gone to Disney World with my daughter and grand kids and being a little bored, decided to call up a couple hunting buddies and see if they wanted to go fishing.... like an idiot, promised we would catch some fish if they would go.   got up Friday morning and the wind was terrible.... If I can't fish where I want and not being one to ride around just to look for some relief from the wind, just so I could drown some bait, told them to go back to bed....  they rode me hard....

  Friday evening... 

Wind died down and did decent...

 Saturday morning...

repeat of Friday morning...


 Saturday evening...

 Sunday morning...

now wind to speak of, did decent....

 Fished mid lake, main channel.... with wanting to be able to turn quick or back up, didn't fish with boards or floats....all down lines..2 ounce weight

I always try to not reel any fish in when I've got folks with me that haven't or don't get to fish much.... ran over a monster school twice this morning, and with all the chaos that ensued, didn't get a screen shot of them, but did get a few more.... lots of small pods of fish in the main channel....

















Kept a few this morning for the company fish fry this week...

How many is "decent"?

That wind was a real pain both mornings. I'm sure it would have had the Bigun Mobile, modeled after the Pope Mobile flying down the lake - but at least you would have been warm inside the bubble

"Decent" a term used in the late 70s equivalant to the standard current usage of "AWESOME" or "COOL". I can live with that!

 Nope, the hook was already there.... I would have loved to had heard the story whoever broke it off told.... bet he thought it was a 20lber

No bird action where I was...... if the bird action you got into was just a tad before your place, across to the other side... I saw those...
